Craven Cottage is one of London's most delightful football venues. A beautiful riverside setting might be enough to impress most visitors, but the charm of the old-fashioned stadium right next to the Thames River is what puts it over the top. In the 21st century, when most professional sports in the U.S. and Europe are played in huge, impersonal arenas, it is almost a miracle that not only does Craven Cottage survive but it also thrives as the home of Fulham Football Club.
As you walk through the gates, you are not simply going to a sports event — you are partaking in a profound sporting tradition. The even more famous Cottage, the distinct pavilion, and the historic brickwork give an experience that is anything but your typical sports outing.
Be it a Premier League football match or a special occasion, tickets to Craven Cottage in London mean access to an authentic sporting venue. The 29,589 seats in this stadium keep any and every event feeling almost intimate, with sightlines so good you could argue any and every seat is the best.
Ensuring the authenticity and security of tickets is critical to having a historic riverside venue where fans can experience worry-free access. Fans achieve that access through a secure marketplace offered by Ticombo, and with marketplace access comes guaranteed ticket authenticity.
Every transaction provides strong buyer protection, taking away the worries generally linked to the secondary market. With us, you're guaranteed valid tickets and safe transactions. From the moment you engage with us, your experience is backed by ironclad confidence.
To prevent problems and issues, listings undergo strict verification, and a responsive support team acts quickly to solve any difficulties that may arise. For much sought-after football events, this means that purchasing is straightforward and problem-free.

Not many sites can claim a legacy like this Thames-side landmark. It was initially constructed in 1780 as a royal hunting lodge for Baron Craven but was turned into a football ground in 1886, at which time Fulham FC first called the space home.
In 1905, the architect Archibald Leitch restructured the stadium into a real football ground and preserved its singular characteristics. Leitch's pavilion still exists — an oft-visited site in an era of razor-edged reinvented arenas. Yet, for all that, the club's governance has ensured by way of both the planning process and a tranche of cash that the heritage remains very much alive — complete with a Riverside Stand that looks as if it was meant to be there, modernized, yet respectful of the heritage it stands for.
This exceptional history influences the atmosphere on match days for both devoted followers and fresh faces.
Craven Cottage, with a capacity of 29,589, is one of the most compact top-flight stadiums in London. It prioritizes atmosphere and close-up viewing over some of the other top-flight London stadiums like Wembley, which has a capacity of 90,000. In these top-flight stadiums, every seat feels close to the action. They are so intimate that even one's view from the upper tiers makes one feel as if one are in the front row with one's favorite players.
The playing field is bordered by four distinct structures: Johnny Haynes Stand (formerly known as Stevenage Road Stand), Putney End, Hammersmith End, and the Riverside Stand, which is presently undergoing renovations. Of these structures, the Johnny Haynes Stand makes for the most interesting architectural story, as it is the only one listed in any way (II*). That means it is recognized as a classic piece of early-20th-century football architecture.
The authentic cottage, situated between the Putney and Johnny Haynes stands, contains dressing rooms and has a quirky charm. The playing field is 100 by 65 meters — slightly smaller, really, than some league grounds — which contributes to the fast-paced, technical quality of play we see week in and week out.
Selecting the prime perch relies on ambiance, lines of sight, and nearness. Row D across the ground provides an ideal altitude — high enough for strategy yet low enough for up-close-and-personal. They guarantee utter clarity of pitch and a near-to-the-field experience.
The Johnny Haynes Stand offers real heritage, with its Leitch balustrades and traditional wooden seats. If you're sat in the upper central section, you're in the best place for watching the action unfold right in front of you. The Hammersmith End is where the home support tends to be most vocal, and it's where the away fans often find themselves when they're trying to create a bit of atmosphere. Meanwhile, neutral fans often find themselves in the main stand, which has the best view of the pitch.
Premium seating, seating options, and comfort in the revamped Riverside Stand offer new hospitality choices.
The ground has four different stands, creating a classic rectangular layout. The Johnny Haynes Stand, on the west side, is the ground's heart, with its red-brick exterior and listed interiors. Opposite it lies the modern Riverside Stand.
The Hammersmith end (north) and the Putney end (south) complete the setup. Hammersmith has the home fans, and Putney has a mix of fans, who are separated and safe with the kind of barrier that no longer seems controversial, at least inside a stadium. The old cottage that the football club converted into a luxury box in 2001 stands at the corner, preserving the character of the stadium.
Because of where it is, the stadium does not have a lot of parking. Most of the on-site spaces go to officials and people who have special permits.
Finding an available parking space on the streets near the venue can be a daunting task. The majority of the roads adjacent to the venue are in residential zones and are heavily enforced on event days. If you are unable to find a space along the main roads, the commercial parking options within walking distance, such as Hammersmith Broadway shopping center or Putney Exchange, tend to fill up very quickly. Your best bet is to find residential parking on side streets near the venue.
A lot of visitors utilize public transportation to get to the event. Public transit users tend to have similar travel patterns as those who drive — using transit to get to the event during large crowds. For the few that drive, many utilize park-and-ride schemes, parking in lots outside of the event and finishing their journey by bus. And then there's the few visitors that you likely don't see in public or private spaces. These visitors have some sort of arrangement and use accessible blue badge parking spaces.
It is quite easy to reach the stadium when one uses London's transport network.
Usually the quickest way is the Underground — Putney Bridge (District Line) is an approximately 10-15 minute walk through Bishops Park. Hammersmith station (multiple lines) is about 20 minutes away, with broader transit options.
The local National Rail station is Putney; it is served by trains from Waterloo and points beyond. From the station, it is approximately a 15-20 minute walk to the Gallery (the website directions say 15 minutes; we've always thought it takes a bit longer). You can also take the bus — routes 74, 220, 430, and 295 stop quite near the Gallery. On event days, we're told there is often extra bus service.
In summer, the river bus operated by Thames Clippers can be found at Putney Pier. It offers a lovely way to arrive by water. Look at the timetable; it changes with the seasons.
Limited return transit may be available for night and weekend events, so plan your journey to and from the event in advance.
Ticombo guarantees that every ticket is authentic by putting it through a stringent process of checks before it is sold.
The combination of tech solutions and human review results in the secure authentication of event orders. The Ticombo system scrutinizes electronic tickets above all. The system matches the digital signatures of those tickets to venue records. If any doubt arises at this stage, Ticombo guarantees either that the ticket is valid or that you will receive compensation for any denied access to the event.
Your data is protected because every transaction is encrypted. There are also enhanced fraud-detection algorithms that monitor for suspicious activity, not to mention two-factor authentication securing account access.
All payments are processed to the highest overall global standards, using reliable providers. This high level of security happens nearly invisibly, allowing buyers to concentrate on their experience and have peace of mind throughout the process.
Ticombo provides fast and flexible delivery. E-tickets can arrive in mere minutes, ready for easy entry into the venue and stored right on your device.
Should you require a physical ticket, we can expedite ship via tracked delivery. Our platform allows you to follow your order, from the time it is placed to the time it arrives in your hands. So you can use it to get into the event for which you ordered it.
Ticombo is a reliable platform, particularly for sold-out events and for those looking to purchase premium seats. It is a trustworthy site because it employs total checks and has buyer protection in place.
For typical home matches at Fulham FC, the official club website serves as the main source, with ticket sales occurring in phases — first to season ticket holders and members, then to the general public.
Select your match, choose your seat, and pay securely after registering. Generally, digital tickets are sent via email or made accessible in the club's app, ensuring a seamless experience from ordering to entering.
Prices vary by fixture and seat. For a standard match, Fulham FC charges between £25 and £75, depending on the stand, seat, and the opponent. For premium games, they charge more.
Events are categorized by demand, and concessions are usually made. Matches that sell out on secondary markets tend to go for higher prices, although some fairly unheralded fixtures might be less expensive. Hospitality seats are available starting at near £150, with added incentives and upgrades increasing the cost.
Accommodating 29,589 fans, Craven Cottage is one of the Premier League's more intimate stadiums. It is well-known for its vibrant atmosphere and is undoubtedly one of the most electrifying venues in English football.
The distribution of capacity is uneven, with the Johnny Haynes Stand accommodating around 7,000, and the Hammersmith and Putney Ends about 6,000 each. The pre-renovation Riverside Stand could accommodate only 4,300, but this number is set to grow.
For kickoffs at 3:00 PM on Saturday, the gates generally open at around 1:30 PM, which is 90 minutes earlier. Gates at evening matches usually open 75–90 minutes in advance, with some big games opening even earlier. The hospitality areas open up even earlier — 2–3 hours — that's 120–180 minutes prior to kickoff.
Always check the club's official updates or your ticket info for accurate opening times, since schedules may be altered by special events.
