Ernst Happel Stadion Tickets
Experience world-class events at Ernst Happel Stadion!
Step into the world of unforgettable experiences at Vienna's Ernst Happel Stadion. Since 1931, this iconic Austrian venue — an art deco masterpiece — has hosted an astonishing array of world-class events. From historic matches like the 1978 UEFA Cup final to massive concerts by contemporary Austrian groups like Rammstein and Coldplay, this stadium welcomes no fewer than 1.5 million Austrians and international visitors each year.
The stadium was completely renovated for the 2002 UEFA European Football Championship held in Austria, enhancing both its architectural and operational standards. It serves as a cornerstone of sporting and cultural life in Vienna, continually evolving to accommodate top-tier football matches and major music tours alike.
At Ticombo, when a listed ticket becomes canceled, invalid, or delivery is delayed, the buyer protection guarantee ensures immediate replacement or a full refund, taking the financial risk off your shoulders. This security mirrors the importance of trust in an unpredictable secondary ticket market.
Understanding the challenges posed by ticket scalpers, Ticombo prioritizes a fair marketplace for fans. The platform offers dedicated sections for concertgoers to easily locate relevant events without sifting through unrelated sporting listings. This dedication makes Ernst Happel Stadion a dual-purpose venue where football and concerts coexist, sometimes requiring architectural insights to transform an open football bowl into an evocative concert space.
The playing area measures 105 by 68 meters, adhering to FIFA standards, covering about 111,500 square feet — a substantial space to deliver outstanding sound quality. Nestled centrally in Vienna, the stadium's 2002-2005 renovations included adding an upper concourse and auxiliary stairways, easing the flow of patrons between levels, and effectively combating logistical challenges.
Between 2005 and 2015, significant acoustic upgrades delivered a totally new quality of sound, as confirmed by experts from the Bösendorfer piano factory. These improvements bolster the stadium's reputation as a vibrant concert venue.
100% Authentic Tickets with Buyer Protection
Ticombo protects every purchaser with a robust buyer protection guarantee. If tickets bought through the platform are invalid or cancelled, buyers promptly receive replacements or full refunds. This eliminates financial uncertainty common in secondary ticket markets, assuring fans can confidently secure their spot at Ernst Happel Stadion events.
