Experience world-class events at Kras Stadion!
Kras Stadion is located in Volendam, a lovely village not far from Amsterdam. The area is romantic, with wooden houses and bustling waterfront cafés. The citizens of Volendam love their team, FC Volendam, which plays all its home matches in Kras Stadion. The club has been around since 1937 and was started, like many Dutch clubs, by a priest.
The current capacity of Kras Stadion is 7,500, and the compact design means you can see and hear everything from everywhere in the stadium. If you are in the mood to wave a flag or sing a song, the acoustics are exceptional — the atmosphere feels intimate and immediate. The context makes for a terrific overall experience: tasty seafood is available at modest prices, and the village setting turns matchday into a broader outing along the waterfront.
