About Q2 Stadium
Q2 Stadium History
The new home of Austin FC now stands as one of the toughest venues in the league for opposing teams. The rapid construction of the stadium was a sign that Austin was all-in on bringing in top-level soccer. And every part of this place was built with the idea of making an actual soccer-specific stadium — not a so-so venue that could also be used as an events center.
Q2 Stadium Facts and Figures
Q2 Stadium opened its doors in 2021 as the home of Austin FC, the city's MLS team. The stadium has a capacity of 20,500 and was designed specifically for soccer, ensuring an authentic match-day experience for fans. Austin FC supporters are known for bringing the ruckus, creating an electric atmosphere at every home game.
Q2 Stadium Seating Guide
Best seats at Q2 Stadium
The spaces between the two penalty areas provide some of the best viewing in the house. You can see team formations clearly, and it's easy to spot coaches' strategic adjustments as the game unfolds. In this part of the stadium, you really do have a front-row seat for the action. For fans who are really into soccer and want the best possible view of a match, I would recommend going as close to the midfield as possible. Another good option is to look for seats on an elevated row in this same part of the stadium. Fans will still have a great seat while enjoying more panoramic views of the match. Plus, the atmosphere in the stadium will still be incredible as the plays are unfolding right in front of them.
Another thing to keep in mind is that if fans want to enjoy some behind-the-goal action as the home side is pushing forward, then seats in that part of the stadium are really a good option. They will definitely have an electrifying experience if they go that route.
Q2 Stadium Seating Chart
If you're concerned with missing out on the essence of the venue, reviewing the seating chart is essential. On the flip side, if you just want a good time and are indifferent to which team's colors are flying high above the venue, then go ahead and grab a ticket for any seat.
How to get to Q2 Stadium
Parking at Q2 Stadium
Purchasing parking passes in advance and online is a smart move. It ensures a spot in what can be a chaotic parking situation. It often saves money, too. On days when Austin FC plays at their home stadium, Q2 Stadium, parking can fill up quickly. Games usually take place on weekends, which is also a time when the business around the stadium, especially on Burnet Road to the north, can be very busy. Buying a parking pass guarantees that a space will be available when it's needed. The pass must be printed out to be effective, though, because there's no mobile scanning option at the gate into the parking lot. Once inside, it's mostly a matter of finding which of the five or so lots that are in play on just about any given match day your space is in. By buying a pass ahead of time, you practically eliminate any drama around parking that could cut into the enjoyment of the pre-game festivities.
