Sultan Ibrahim Stadium Tickets

Experience world-class events at Sultan Ibrahim Stadium!

Sultan Ibrahim Stadium is in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. It is the newest stadium in the state of Johor and serves as the home stadium of Johor Darul Ta'zim and the Johor football team. The stadium has a capacity of 40,000 and is an "all-seater" stadium. The distinctive design combines elements of Malay architecture and modern beauty. Whether you are an architecture enthusiast, a Malaysia folklife aficionado, or just a football fan, venturing to the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium promises you a unique and exceptional experience. You might think it is just a stadium, but beyond the normal functions of staging football matches and the inevitable thunderous cheering of audiences, it has been described as "a cultural showcase." Quite simply, going to this stadium is an opportunity to participate in a shared experience of Malaysian culture.

100% Authentic Tickets with Buyer Protection

This framework for protecting buyers significantly reduces the risks tied to fake or misdirected tickets. It does so by carefully ensuring that each ticket gets to the right person, whether that be a fan or concertgoer. That process might have taken two or three steps a decade ago; now, it's mostly happening in one. These systems are (mostly) foolproof, and what is more, they are (mostly) secure. The push is now very much towards advance, online-only acquisition of tickets, which is to be welcomed not just because doing so steers us clear of the virtually certain disaster that is buying tickets on-site during the hours leading up to a major event, but also because it significantly enhances the experience of purchasing tickets.

Purchasing tickets for the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium from Ticombo carries several benefits. First and foremost is the guarantee of authenticity. Each ticket obtained through Ticombo is confirmed to be genuine via a three-step verification process. The first step involves verifying the identity of the seller; this is done using government-issued identification to ensure that the seller is a real person and not just a faceless entity. The next step in the process involves checking the tickets themselves against the official database of the venue for which the ticket is being sold. The final step is to confirm in real-time that the seat being purchased is actually allocated to that buyer and not someone else. After clearing these steps, a ticket can be considered valid for entry to the event for which it was purchased. There is no guarantee that the same can be said for any tickets purchased from a secondary market.

About Sultan Ibrahim Stadium

Sultan Ibrahim Stadium History

The stadium's distinctive design and cultural framing make it more than a sports venue; it is often presented as a cultural showcase. The combination of traditional Malay architectural elements with modern design creates an atmosphere that reflects local identity while serving world-class sporting events. As the newest stadium in Johor and the home of Johor Darul Ta'zim, it represents a focal point for regional sporting pride and cultural expression.

Sultan Ibrahim Stadium Facts and Figures

The stadium holds 40,000 spectators under normal conditions and is an all-seater facility. Because the stadium is modular, it can be expanded when necessary — say, for a large concert — without running afoul of safety codes that cap the number of people allowed in a given space.

Acoustic engineering uses baffles and resonant panels to deliver clear sound across the stadium. A sophisticated drainage system ensures that water doesn't pool on the field, which is very important for maintaining the surface, especially during heavy rains. "The drainage system has to be spot-on, to recover the surface in a very short amount of time to prevent pooling," said LED designer Randy Lichtenahn, who worked on the stadium project. Lichtenahn noted that the potential for very heavy downpours coupled with a very short time frame within which the water must be drained places the "effective design" of the drainage system under serious pressure.
