About the Radiohead 2027 Tour

Radiohead's twenty-one date 2027 Australia and Japan tour is strictly limited and these are the only shows the band will be doing that year, so no more will be added. Tickets for every date of Radiohead's 2027 tour can be found below.

The tour will be Radiohead's first in Australia since November 2012, when they performed in the country, and it's also their first in Japan since 2008, and the band played Summer Sonic in August 2016 but have yet to headline there since.

This is Radiohead's final announced tour and there are currently no further dates scheduled past 13 June 2027 in Saitama.

Radiohead have recently favoured residencies, representing several nights in the same city, over touring from place to place every night, a format they've been doing since their recent European tour last year, during which they played multiple shows in each city.

Guitarist Ed O'Brian commented on Radiohead's approach, saying, "Because you can't do any more." "These songs, they're too powerful… by the end of it, you were drained." He added that Radiohead tour about twenty shows a year on one continent.

Registration to obtain Radiohead tickets began in September 2026 via radiohead.com with Frontier Touring the promoter for the Australia shows and eplus the ticketing agency for the shows in Japan. Once registered, fans will be notified when they can then log back in to radiohead.com to reveal their personal unlock code which is needed to get Radiohead tickets during the general on-sale this September. This system was implemented for Radiohead's recent European tour in an effort to combat bots and aggressive touts.

Radiohead are:

Thom Yorke - lead vocals, guitar, piano
Jonny Greenwood - guitar, keyboards, other instruments
Colin Greenwood - bass
Ed O'Brien - guitar
Philip Selway - drums

Radiohead Melbourne Tickets - Rod Laver Arena, May 2027

Next up for Radiohead on tour are six shows in Melbourne, which is their largest there yet, on 13, 14, 16, 17, 19, and 20 May 2027 at Rod Laver Arena, making this the longest residency of the tour's three stops in Australia.

Radiohead Sydney Tickets - Afterpay Arena, May and June 2027

The band will finish off their stint in Australia with six shows in Sydney on 25, 26, 28, 29, 31 May, and 1 June 2027 at Afterpay Arena, formerly known as Qudos Bank Arena and the Sydney SuperDome. The last show on 1 June will be Radiohead's final gig there.

The Venues

RAC Arena is the largest indoor arena in Western Australia and is located in the central business district of Perth. The concert configuration of the venue has a capacity of around 15,000 people.
Rod Laver Arena is part of Melbourne Park which hosts tennis' Australian Open each January, with Laver being its main show-court. Its concert configuration can accommodate around 15,000. The venue has a retractable roof and a steeply-raked upper bowl.
Afterpay Arena is the largest of the three Australian arenas on this tour with a capacity of approximately 21,000. It's located in Sydney Olympic Park, around twenty minutes away from Central Station by train.
Saitama Super Arena is a multipurpose venue around twenty-five minutes from Tokyo Station on the Keihin-Tōhoku Line or Shōnan-Shinjuku Line. The venue's unique design includes sections of the building that can be moved around to fit various configurations, ranging from a smaller hall to a 37,000 person stadium setup.

Radiohead formed at Abingdon School in Oxfordshire in 1985 with a lineup that's been unchanged since. They're one of those legacy rock acts that defy expectations, refusing to tread the same ground twice and always forging ahead into unknown territory. Their arena-sized sound shifts drastically between quiet and loud, making it a must-see live show. Their setlists have a lot of breadth and rotate around often; it's unlikely that any two in-a-row will be the same, especially not on a residency.

One of my favourite Radiohead live moments was seeing them perform last year in concert. After the intro, Thom's voice comes in, singing, "for a minute there, I lost myself", which is such an emotive line and was sung with real feeling at this gig. I got chills and teared up.

Radiohead Australia & Japan Tour Dates

All the shows are arena-sized, which will feature a similar layout from night-to-night. Floor space will be closest to the action, with these general admission, unreserved tickets often being the first to sell-out. Radiohead returned to the stage in 2025 with an impressive production that saw the band staged-in-the-round on a circular rig. Seats within the lower bowl surround this area, providing a great view of the action and the chance to soak up the impressive lighting designs from a safe distance. Seats located higher and further away offer a unique, bird's-eye perspective, making them popular picks for those keen on taking in the full scale of the production, including impressive video screens. If your seat is marked as a Restricted View, it is because sightlines to the stage are partially obscured by production elements, so make sure to check the ticketing information for full details.

Why are there so few Radiohead shows?

Radiohead have a reputation for only performing a handful of live dates each year, often choosing to perform multiple nights in the same city before moving on. Guitarist Ed O'Brien explained that this style of touring was partly down to the strenuous nature of the shows, saying: "Because you can't do any more." He added, "These songs, they're too powerful… by the end of it, you were drained."

What is Radiohead like live?

Radiohead concerts are known for being surprisingly dynamic for a rock act. Yorke is a captivating live presence who will often wander across the stage and incorporate elements of the audience into the act, while Greenwood is known for pulling out unusual instruments to accompany the group's more ambient tracks. Radiohead are known for their loud-quiet-loud live dynamics, so expect your ears to be regularly tested as they ramp their arena-sized sound up and down throughout the set.

What is the history of Radiohead?

Yorke and the Greenwoods met as students at Abingdon School in 1985, adding O'Brien and Selway before releasing material under the name On a Friday for seven years. Upon signing to EMI, the quintet renamed itself after a Talking Heads song before releasing debut LP Pablo Honey in 1993. Widely considered a turning point in alternative music, The Bends arrived two years later in 1995, followed by 1997's masterpiece, OK Computer.

Refusing to tread the same musical ground twice, Radiohead replaced the guitar-driven songs of its past with synthesisers, jazz-influenced horn arrangements and the haunting tones of the Ondes Martenot on its fourth LP, 2000's Kid A, with Amnesiac following swiftly after. Radiohead continued to explore new styles on 2003's more straightforward Hail to the Thief before returning to experimentation on 2007's In Rainbows, the group's first album released as a pay-what-you-want digital download before a physical edition was issued. The King of Limbs followed three years after, while Yorke returned to heavier synths on 2016's A Moon Shaped Pool. Since then, the band have been MIA as a group for seven years with members pursuing solo albums, film scoring duties and side projects.

Radiohead's Greatest Hits

Creep

Creep was the band's debut single back in 1992 and saw them briefly scale the singles chart in their home country. Though the song was written-off by Radiohead early on and omitted from live sets for years, Creep has been a firm setlist staple in recent times.

Paranoid Android

The first single lifted from OK Computer back in 1997, Paranoid Android is a sprawling, six-and-a-half minute epic divided into four distinct parts. It's no surprise that the song remains a fan-favourite in the setlist to this day.

Karma Police

Also a standout on OK Computer, Karma Police has become one of those singalong anthems that gets arenas rocking, and you can wait for the coda to find out what we mean.

No Surprises

Radiohead are famous for taking songs from their past and turning them on their head, and No Surprises is no exception. Often serving as a fitting closer, Yorke's plaintive cries are complemented by delicate glockenspiel arrangements on recent tours.

Everything In Its Right Place

The title-track to 2000's genre-bending Kid A, Everything In Its Right Place sees Yorke taking centre-stage, and the frontman's vocalisations are looped and sampled during Radiohead live shows.

Idioteque

The second single lifted from Kid A, Idioteque saw Radiohead taking a sample of 1970's computer-generated music and twisting it into one of the most frenetic tracks in its back-catalogue. Expect your pulse to race during Radiohead's blistering rendition.

Weird Fishes / Arpeggi

The track that closes Kid A sees four different guitar tracks weaving together over an insistent drumline, which is perfect for winding up Kid A-heavy second halves of Radiohead concerts.

Pyramid Song

Yorke's unconventional metering over piano is complimented by stirring string arrangements on Pyramid Song, a standout track. The drums don't come in until the final verse, but you won't notice when everything's going your head... "for a minute there, I lost myself".

Let Down

Though it was never released as a single, Let Down has become a firm audience-favourite in more recent years. Originally lifted from OK Computer, Let Down became popular online years after release and has been a fixture of Radiohead concerts .

Burn the Witch

The first taste of A Moon Shaped Pool back in 2016, Burn the Witch sees Yorke bellowing over tense, col legno plucked strings before exploding into a fist-in-the-air finale.

What To Expect at a Radiohead Concert

Radiohead are one of the most iconic rock bands to emerge from Britain. Their recent European tour saw them perform in-the-round.

Radiohead's 2025 tour comprised twenty shows spread over Madrid, Bologna, London, Copenhagen & Berlin where they performed their own unique brand of rock.

Radiohead performed on a circular stage which allowed them to be seen from all angles with video screens mounted above which could be lowered, raised, rotated, tilted, and otherwise manoeuvred during the performance. The band's impressive lighting rig is an intrinsic part of the production and moves dynamically to reflect the moods of each song. Both guitarists performed wirelessly for the first time allowing them to roam the circular stage with greater freedom.

Setlists featured approximately two dozen songs with a varied order from night-to-night meaning fans could catch different renditions at each show, and songs that hadn't been played for as long as twenty-years were resurrected at times.

Radiohead's shows at London's The O2 set new attendance records for the venue and the tour received near-unanimously rave reviews from music press. £1 or €1 from the proceeds of every ticket was donated to charity.

When To Buy Radiohead Tickets

It is impossible that any further 2027 Radiohead tickets will become available for purchase. This is the full list of shows for 2027, as there will be no other tours, festivals, or additional dates. If you've been hoping to go to a Radiohead concert, it's time to make it happen.

Radiohead have been known to announce extra shows when tickets sell-out, however, the band have stated that there will not be any additional dates for their upcoming tour. We recommend acting immediately if you're keen to get Radiohead tickets.

In our experience, Radiohead tickets can be available to buy on Ticombo at any point, but availability does not reliably grow as the date approaches. Tickets may become available on Ticombo at any point as someone who had previously bought Radiohead tickets may have a change of plans. If you're after Radiohead tickets for a particular date, the best thing is to keep checking back on Ticombo to see if any become available to buy.

In the past, Radiohead have performed multiple consecutive nights at certain venues as part of their touring schedule. Generally speaking there are more tickets available for shows which are neither the first nor last night of the band's residency at a given venue. If you're flexible with dates, check the entire run of Radiohead tickets.
