AC/DC Tour Information

2025 Tour Details

The Australian powerhouse continues to electrify what hard rock means to so many people, and 2025 promises a stunning global return to live performance. In a career spanning over five decades, the iconic group remains one of the most sought-after live acts on the planet, and securing tickets for their next shows demands both timing and awareness. This current iteration of AC/DC maintains the band's signature sound while honoring rock's hard-and-fast rules. Recent concert footage suggests that if anything, the band's recent "power up" has made these veteran performers leaner and meaner, with a greater quantity of stadium riffs and an even larger quantity of explosive moments.

These concert venues are among the largest in the Southern Hemisphere, with capacities reaching all the way up to 100,000 attendees. Their stature alone speaks to the band's continued commercial viability and their ability to pull in an audience at the stadium level. Production values this tour are expected to include not just huge LED panels, the lighting departments of Broadway musicals, and other basic rock show accoutrements, but also the cannon used in the song "For Those About to Rock." Attendees are advised to arrive at least an hour before the scheduled start and to have a plan for how to avoid standing in line en route to the venue restroom and/or the viewing area.

What to expect at an AC/DC concert

The powerful energy of the tens of thousands of people singing along to instantly recognizable anthems creates an atmosphere that very few other musical experiences can match. From the very beginning to the very end, this performance is a masterclass in stagecraft and musical execution. Angus Young's schoolboy outfit and duck-walking guitar solos may be iconic, but nothing cuts through the now-even-denser wall of sound with more razor-sharp authority than Brian Johnson's sandpaper-throated vocals. Stevie Young, Phil Rudd, and Cliff Williams may not be household names, but in this rock band, those are the trio whose unfailingly steady foundation allows the other two to pretty much soar and devastate at will. This is not a basement nostalgia act; in fact, one might argue that this current lineup is capable of doing a "not in the basement" act exactly as it's supposed to be done and seemingly as a way by which certain bands achieve legendary status.

AC/DC Biography

Started in 1973 by brothers Malcolm and Angus Young, AC/DC hails from Sydney, Australia. The band fastened a blues-infused, stripped-down, and hard-hitting rock to a global stage that was part working-class power and part rebellious mayhem. Consider Bon Scott, the band's original frontman, who delivered the kind of powerful, raw, and visceral rock vocals that have rarely, if ever, been matched. Whether fronting a song like "It's a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock 'n' Roll)," with its driving-chorus payoff and simple but effective riff, or doing the same with "T. N. T.," a song that has both guaranteed sing-along cult status and near-constant airplay, Scott rocked hard. This period encapsulated the band's youthful drive and Australian working-class values, laying the groundwork for everything that came after.

AC/DC Greatest Hits

Highway to Hell (1979)

Many consider this to be the Bon Scott's greatest moment in terms of recorded work. The title track is an anthem; every track delivers. Even the deeper cuts exhibit what might be considered increasing sophistication in arrangement and production. It is as though this album were the grand culmination of the Scott-era lineup's evolution, such that it also becomes the last studio work that Scott would make with the band.

Back in Black (1980)

If you were to cite a defining hard rock album, something that would serve as the very archetype of the form, this one might be it. What the music really achieves in speaking for the mournful moment is absolutely nothing short of incredible, considering how upbeat the songs somehow end up sounding. Every single track is killer; this is how you write a set of anthems, one after the other.

When to buy AC/DC tickets?

Typically, the first chance to purchase tickets to see AC/DC occurs several months in advance of their concert dates. The band lets its fans know through official channels when to expect the first ticket sales. Watching for these official announcements and planning to act quickly upon their release provides the best chance of securing reasonably priced tickets. Buying from reliably listed sources guarantees not only valid tickets but also keeps you in line with the band's apparent ethos.

When faced with the uncertain prospect of attending a concert by a significant influence in the world of rock music, it's best to err on the side of assured access rather than to hold out for potentially favorable pricing. Despite the risk that many ticketing platforms face of having their events completely sold out by the time that event date draws near, the members of AC/DC have proved time and again that any opportunity to see them live is an event well worth the price of admission.

Sales of primary tickets occur mainly through concert venue box offices and authorized ticketing partners, with the concert itself usually announced weeks in advance. For purchases on the secondary market, platforms such as Ticombo provide not just a verified seller access point but also buyer protection features that ensure transaction security. Quick account setup allows for a streamlined purchase pathway, with saved payment methods and delivery preferences in place for the sort of time-sensitive opportunities that often pop up when shopping for hot concert tickets.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much are AC/DC tickets?

Pricing for AC/DC shows depends on a few things: the venue, the seating location, and overall market conditions that can range from healthy to very robust. Remember, too, that unless you be like me and roll with the "Fan Club Power" that gets you into a pre-sale ahead of general public sales, you will be buying under conditions that favor the band and its ticketing affiliates. That said, hope springs eternal that one might score a ticket at the nominal "standard" admission price, which for this particular band tends to be in anything but a "modest" price range. If, conversely, your budget only allows for some kind of miracle to procure a ticket at the aforementioned nominal price, then approximately 20 seconds are at your disposal to book one for yourself once the on-sale moment hits.

Where is AC/DC performing?

Each venue has its own unique traits relating to accessibility, transportation, and sight lines for an audience. Adelaide, for example, is relatively cozy, with a capacity of about 10,000; the street circuit is definitely not the biggest of the down under venues. Routing info complete with a pertinent setlist is still a ways off, but if these Circles of Life Australian venues that have come to light thus far are any kind of portent, it looks to be a very significant tour for both artist and audience alike.
