O My Beloved – The New Album

Kings of Leon have revealed that O My Beloved, their forthcoming album, is due to be released on 6 November 2026 via Love Tap Records.

The LP will be the Nashville-formed quartet's first self-produced studio album, their tenth in all, after working with various producers on previous projects.

O My Beloved's first single, My Whole World, has been met with favourable reviews, with the track's domestic, acoustic-based sound contrasting with the energy of Can We Please Have Fun, the band's 2024 effort.

Caleb Followill, Kings of Leon's lead singer/guitarist, has described the LP as "looking back on all of the things that we've done and appreciating how we got here".

Kings of Leon's latest single Cold Blue Dawn continues the quieter tone.

The O2 Arena – The Venue

The O2 Arena is an indoor arena on the Greenwich Peninsula in London. It has a capacity of approximately 20,000 for a gig and is housed inside the shell of the Millennium Dome.

The O2 was originally known as The O2 Arena but has dropped that name recently. It opened in 2007 and Kings of Leon will be among the artists to perform at The O2 as part of a special 20th anniversary programme.

The O2 is most easily reached by tube/train using North Greenwich station (Jubilee line). The Elizabeth line stops at Canary Wharf, one stop away, or you can use an Uber Boat to North Greenwich Pier.

The arena is perfect for a Kings of Leon show, allowing the band's anthems, thinking of "Sex on Fire" and "Use Somebody", to shine, whilst slower tracks also work well acoustically inside the bowl-shaped venue.

About Kings of Leon

Kings of Leon are an American rock band originally hailing from Nashville. Named after their late grandfather Leon, Kings of Leon consist of three brothers and a cousin, Caleb Followill (vocals/guitar), Nathan Followill (drums), Jared Followill (bass) and Matthew Followill (lead guitar).

Formed in 1999, the quartet have maintained the same line-up throughout their career. Kings of Leon's sparingly-talkative lead singer Caleb Followill lets the band's music do the talking with songs ranging from the stomping "I've been roaming around" of Use Somebody to the anthemicness of "Sex on Fire" and "Not the Same".

Kings of Leon's Biggest Songs

Kings of Leon are an American rock band formed in Nashville in 1999 and made up of three brothers and one cousin. They've stuck with that same line-up throughout their career: Caleb Followill on lead vocals and guitar, Nathan Followill on drums, Jared Followill on bass, and cousin Matthew Followill on lead guitar. Kings of Leon take their name from their grandfather Leon.

Kings of Leon were considerably more famous in Britain than the States when they came to our shores following 2003's Youth & Young Manhood and 2004's Aha Shake Heartbreak, but it was 2007's wider-reaching Because of the Times that saw them properly blow up . Then came Only by the Night in 2008 and global stardom followed as singles "Sex on Fire" and "Use Somebody" became unavoidable. "Use Somebody" won Record of the Year and Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group at the 2010 Grammys while "Sex on Fire" took home Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group the previous year after it became the band's first number one here.

Kings of Leon have gone on to release Come Around Sundown (2010), Mechanical Bull (2013) and WALLS (2016), the latter being their first number one album in the States. They returned in 2021 with When You See Yourself followed by Can We Please Have Fun last year. Loud and loose, CWPHF was the perfect palate cleanser before Kings of Leon release their tenth album this year, which marks the first time the group have self-produced a record.

Kings of Leon Tickets for London

Kings of Leon will headline a gig in London in 2027 as part of The O2 Arena 20th birthday celebrations. The show takes place on Friday 2 July 2027 at The O2 in London, a venue on Greenwich Peninsula. Tickets are available to purchase from AXS here. Doors open at 6.30pm. There is currently no support act announced.

Kings of Leon have been one of the biggest rock acts around for two decades now, and this concert at The O2 is their sole UK/Europe show currently announced. It'll be their first London concert in years as they graced BST Hyde Park on five occasions with the latest being in 2024. It's no secret Kings of Leon prefer to perform at festivals and large outdoor events, but an arena gig will feel a little more special considering they'll be reminiscing on two decades of rock'n'roll success.

Kings of Leon's tenth album is entitled O My Beloved and arrives on 6 November via Love Tap Records. Caleb Followill described the idea as "looking back on all of the things that we've done and appreciating how we got here". Their latest single is entitled "My Whole World" and came out in September. You can pre-order O My Beloved here.

Sex on Fire

The song that changed the scale of everything for Kings of Leon. A Grammy winner, their first UK number one, and the one guaranteed to get the loudest reaction of the night whether or not anybody admits to wanting it.

Use Somebody

Only by the Night was Kings of Leon's breakthrough and "Use Somebody" is the song that made them superstars. It's a powerfully rendered number with an instantly recognisable riff. Caleb Followill doesn't talk much during Kings of Leon concerts, preferring to let the music speak for itself, but when they launch into this track the crowd will most likely take over for them.

Molly's Chambers

Their first single way back in 2003, Molly's Chambers is the fastest-paced song in Kings of Leon's catalogue and always catches people off-guard live as they're expecting something heavier. It's a great opener as it grabs your attention immediately.

The Bucket

Kings of Leon became a mainstay on the British summer festival circuit well before their success trickled across the Atlantic. The Bucket helped seal that reputation. It's a stomping affair that gets bigger and bigger and ends with everyone jumping up and down.

On Call

Whereas Molly's Chambers sounds like Kings of Leon's current incarnation, On Call is a song that links their grittier, more basic beginnings with their big arena rockers like "Sex on Fire" and "Use Somebody".

Closer

Closer opens Only by the Night and has become one of Kings of Leon's most atmospheric numbers. It's a heady track that builds and builds. The chorus is huge.

Notion

Notion starts life as a deep cut before becoming a single as demand for the song grows. It's another big chorus that catches on immediately.

Pyro

Kings of Leon have cited Pyro as being one of their favourites to play live. It's no surprise as it's a huge tune.

Waste a Moment

Fifteen years into their career Waste a Moment proved Kings of Leon were still capable of writing an earworm rock'n'roll single. It's one of their more direct songs.

My Whole World

"My Whole World" is one of Kings of Leon's most contemplative songs to date and is noticeably quieter than anything that's gone before. It's the first single from their upcoming album.

When To Buy Kings of Leon Tickets

O My Beloved album pre-orderers can get into Kings of Leon tickets presale from 9.30am Wednesday 7 October. Tickets for Kings of Leon are then on-sale from 9.30am (BST) on Friday 9 October. If they're not available direct, Ticombo's fan-sourced Kings of Leon tickets are the next best thing with a money-back guarantee. We'd recommend trying to pick them up within a few weeks of tickets first coming on-sale as that's when supply is at its richest, but they'll probably still be around closer to the date, albeit scarcer after nine months.
