Nickelback Tickets 2027 – Everything Under the Sun World Tour

Canadian rock band Nickelback are out of rehab! Having spent the last fifteen years as the internet's default punchline, frontman Chad Kroeger and co. seem to have successfully rehabilitated their act with their most recent efforts – culminating in the acclaimed 2023 documentary Hate to Love: Nickelback and induction into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame the same year. Their new album Everything Under the Sun is already looking like a huge critical success and will form the basis of the Everything Under the Sun World Tour in 2027 – their most extensive tour in a decade, with shows in arenas and stadiums in North America, the UK/Europe and Australia!

Once the butt of countless memes and an easy internet punching bag for fifteen long years, it would seem that Canadian rockers Nickelback have successfully rehabilitated their name.

The latest sign? After announcing the release of their long-awaited new album, their first in four years and their first not to be issued with BMG, they've also revealed a slew of headline arena and stadium shows. The dates take in shows in North America, the UK and Europe, and a couple of stops in Australia.

Their eleventh studio album is titled Everything Under the Sun and is set for release on 30 October 2026 via Virgin Music Group. Speaking about it frontman Chad Kroeger said, "This album has every side of the band on it." Its standout track so far is lead single "Rattle the Cage", featuring special guest guitar work by John 5. Previous singles "Leave Me Behind" and "Make Me Love You" are also recommended listening.

Nickelback will be supported on almost every date by Don Broco. Read on for all the Nickelback 2027 tour dates...

Types of Nickelback Tickets

• Standing: Grants admission into the floor area at the front of the venue. In most cities, floor tickets are unreserved and so fans will effectively take whichever space they can as soon as they enter the arena. Being closest to the band makes these tickets the first to be snapped up.
• Lower tier: As the name suggests, lower tier seats are reserved places within the first few rows of seating surrounding the floor area. Not being right up in front, sightlines from here aren't as intimate as floor spots - perfect for singing along to your fave anthems, but less ideal for scrutinising every last detail - but they're often more reasonably priced as a result.
• Upper tier: Found towards the back and higher up than other reserved seats, upper tier seats benefit from the added capacity found in this area of the venue. Being furthest away from the action can be tempered thanks to the rumbly roar from arena PA stacks and large screens to feast your eyes upon.
• Lawn & GA: Lawn and general admission tickets will be on sale for the pair of shows in Australia. These grant entry into the wineries' expansive lawns, which will be unreserved so you'll need to arrive early if you want to be nearer the stage. Pack a picnic blanket and basket for the full outdoor concert experience.
• Premium & VIP: Premium and VIP packages are sold separately through official channels. In North America these will likely be via vipnation.com, while vipnation.eu should be the chosen outlet for shows in the UK & Europe.
• Restricted view: Some tickets may be classed as having a restricted view, meaning that sightlines could be partially blocked by staging or technical equipment. These seats will be clearly identified as such before purchase.

Who Are Nickelback?

Nickelback formed in Hanna, Alberta in 1995 — a town of about 2,500 people three hours east of Calgary. The line-up is Chad Kroeger on vocals and guitar, Ryan Peake on guitar and backing vocals, Mike Kroeger on bass, and Daniel Adair on drums, who joined in 2005. The name came from Mike's job at a coffee shop, and the change he handed back: "here's your nickel back."

Silver Side Up in 2001 made them a global band on the back of "How You Remind Me", which went to number one in the United States and which Billboard later named the top rock song of the 2000s. The Long Road followed in 2003, and then All the Right Reasons in 2005 — the album that produced "Photograph", "Rockstar", "Far Away" and "Savin' Me", and which has since been certified diamond in the United States for sales over ten million.

Dark Horse in 2008 added "Gotta Be Somebody", "If Today Was Your Last Day" and "Burn It to the Ground". Here and Now, No Fixed Address, Feed the Machine and Get Rollin' carried them through the next decade. Total sales are north of 50 million.

They also spent roughly fifteen years as the most reflexively mocked band in rock, which the 2023 documentary Hate to Love: Nickelback addressed head-on. Their induction into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame the same year suggested the joke had largely run its course. They outsold almost everyone who told it.

Nickelback's Biggest Songs

How You Remind Me

The 2001 single that changed everything — number one in the United States, and named the top rock song of the 2000s by Billboard. Still the song the whole room sings.

Photograph

The All the Right Reasons opener, a nostalgia ballad about Hanna, and the most memed Nickelback song of all by a wide margin. It has outlived the mockery.

Rockstar

Four and a half minutes of deadpan list-making about the excesses of fame, and a genuine oddity in their catalogue — their biggest UK hit, and the one that reached people who owned nothing else by them.

Far Away

The power ballad from All the Right Reasons, and the point in the set where the phones come out.

Someday

From The Long Road in 2003, and the song that confirmed "How You Remind Me" was not a one-off.

Savin' Me

Built on one of Ryan Peake's best guitar figures, and a bigger live song than its chart position suggests.

Gotta Be Somebody

The Dark Horse lead single, and the most unapologetically huge chorus they have written.

Burn It to the Ground

The one that opens the show. Used as a wrestling theme for years, which tells you exactly what it is for.

If Today Was Your Last Day

The Dark Horse closer, and the song they tend to send people home on.

Rattle the Cage

The lead single from Everything Under the Sun, with John 5 on guitar, and a number one at American Active Rock radio. By the time the tour starts it will be the newest thing in the set.

Don Broco – Support

Don Broco open almost every date on the tour, which is a sharper booking than it might look. The Bedford four-piece have spent fifteen years building a following on the strength of their live show and a run of records — Technology, Amazing Things — that sit somewhere between alternative rock, pop hooks and something closer to funk. They headline arenas in the UK in their own right.

They do not play the Tampa festival date on 27 February.

What To Expect at a Nickelback Show

Nickelback are, whatever else anyone thinks about them, a very good arena band. Thirty years of playing to large rooms has produced a show that is briskly paced, loud, pyro-heavy and almost entirely built around songs people know. Chad Kroeger talks to the crowd a lot, usually self-deprecatingly, and the band lean into their own reputation rather than away from it.

The set is front-loaded with the hits and back-loaded with the bigger ones. Expect a run of Everything Under the Sun material in the middle, "Rockstar" and "Photograph" late, and a closing stretch that leaves nothing in reserve.

The two Australian winery dates will run differently — afternoon starts, support from early, lawn seating and a sunset headline slot rather than a dark arena.

Doors and set times vary by venue. Check your ticket.

When To Buy Nickelback Tickets

The useful thing about a 70-date tour is that most people have more than one option. The less useful thing is that Nickelback have not toured at this scale since before the pandemic, and there is only one date in each European country.

Right now nothing is on general sale, so the sequence is: presale on Tuesday if you qualify, general sale on Friday 16 October, and resale after that. Resale supply for a tour announced nine to twelve months ahead tends to be deepest in the weeks right after the on-sale, when people who bought on impulse reconsider the trip.

The single-date European markets — Zurich, Milan, Vienna, Helsinki, Oslo — are the ones with the least slack. The North American leg has the most, simply because there are 39 dates of it.
