After undergoing a procedure to fit a coronary stent in August, Rod Stewart postponed the remaining dates of his North America tour and cancelled the remainder of his Vegas residency. On 28 September, Stewart took to Instagram to reveal that 2027 will be his last rock 'n' roll tour. "next year will be my last tour forever ever. I'm not retiring. But this will be the last rock 'n' roll tour," Stewart wrote in a heartfelt Instagram caption. "After more than six decades, The Final Encore will most definitely be my last."
Now aged 81, The Final Encore Tour will include 28 dates across 2027, kicking off in March with the five North American shows that have been postponed from 2026. The tour will then continue with the Final Encore for 21 shows across the UK and Europe, concluding in September with two postponed Red Rocks shows. Tickets for all of the shows can be found below and are available to buy on Ticombo, as we regularly update our Rod Stewart tickets with new tickets being added, so make sure to keep an eye out!

Rod Stewart CBE is a British singer whose distinctive baritone voice has made him one of the leading figures in music history. His hits include Stay with Me, Maggie May, Sailing and Da Ya Think I'm Sexy?. Stewart was born in Highgate, the son of a Scottish father and an English mother. He has supported Celtic all his life, and he is still a supporter of the club today. The Hydro crowd will therefore treat Stewart as a local as he performs at OVO Hydro on 29 April.
Tickets are already on sale now, including resale options on Ticombo.
Rod Stewart has rescheduled five shows across North America to March 2027 and two Red Rocks shows to September 2027. He's also added 21 new shows across the UK and Europe.

In a statement in late 2026, Rod Stewart announced that, due to health problems, his tour had been interrupted and rescheduled for 2027. In doing so, Stewart added that it would be his last: "next year will be my last tour forever ever. I'm not retiring. But this will be the last rock 'n' roll tour."
The Final Encore, as it will be called, will be Rod Stewart's last tour, though not necessarily his last recordings. "After more than six decades, The Final Encore will most definitely be my last."
If the name is accurate, that makes the concert on 3 September 2027 the last Rod Stewart concert there will ever be.
The two shows in Colorado are the last of the tour, rescheduled from 2026. If the Final Encore moniker holds true, it's the last Rod Stewart concert there'll ever be.

Rod Stewart tickets are available for his Farewell tour across North America, UK, Europe. Dates include shows across North America, the UK and Europe.
Rod Stewart ticket prices vary depending on the date and location. If you're buying Rod Stewart Tickets for the Casino theatres and most of the dates in European arenas they'll be seated shows. Tickets for the UK and Irish arena shows can be obtained for the standing areas in front of the stage as well as in the tiered sections. It's worth remembering that Rod Stewart fans are older than usual and plenty of people with tickets for the floor regretted it. If you want the most enjoyable experience, opt for a section in the lower or upper bowl where you'll be able to savour this show backed up with a big band and horn section. Some of the open-air shows have terraces and benches instead of seats. These include the shows at St. Augustine, Dalhalla, Bergen, and Red Rocks. If you've got Rod Stewart Tickets for one of the outdoor shows in northern Europe in June make sure you take a jumper. Premium and hospitality tickets are available from the respective links.
Roderick David Stewart, better known as Sir Rod Stewart CBE was born on 10 January 1945 in Highgate in north London. The youngest of five children, Stewart's father was Scottish and his mother English. A lifelong Celtic supporter, Stewart tried out for football before pursuing singing. He started out in the mid-sixties London scene before joining Long John Baldry and Steampacket before joining the Jeff Beck Group in 1967 and forming the Faces in 1969. Although his commitment to his solo career caused friction, Stewart's time with the group proved fruitful with hits including "Stay with Me" and they were named Britain's number one live act.
After leaving the group, Stewart's solo career took off and Every Picture Tells a Story became the first album to top the albums and singles chart in Britain and America thanks to "Maggie May" in 1971. Albums included Atlantic Crossing (1975, "Sailing"), A Night on the Town (1976, "Tonight's the Night") and Blondes Have More Fun (1978, "Da Ya Think I'm Sexy?"). His knighthood came in 2016 and he's a two-time inductee into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a solo artist in 1994 and with the Faces in 2012. His career has seen him sell over 250 million records. In June 2025, now aged 80, Stewart stepped into the Sunday teatime slot usually reserved for a legend at Glastonbury.
The 1971 single that made him, written about a much older woman at the Beltane Fair in Fife, with a mandolin solo that has no business working and does. It was the B-side.
Not his song — the Sutherland Brothers wrote it — but entirely his since 1975. In an arena it stops being a record and becomes something closer to a hymn.
1978, disco, and the point at which a section of his original audience decided they had been betrayed. Nearly fifty years later it is the loudest ten minutes of any Rod Stewart show.
From Foot Loose & Fancy Free, and the one he has always said is about Celtic as much as about anyone. Glasgow should be worth hearing.
The Faces song, co-written with Ronnie Wood, and the moment the set stops being nostalgia and starts being a rock and roll band.
Cat Stevens wrote it, Rod's 1977 version is the one everyone knows, and it has never left the set.
Eight weeks at number one in America in 1976, and still somehow a slightly scandalous record.
Van Morrison's song, taken over by Stewart in 1993 and absorbed into the wedding canon within about eighteen months.
The 1983 single that gave him his sixth British number one and proved he could still land a pop record a decade past his peak.
The 1991 comeback single, with the pipes and the big open chorus, and the song that reconnected him to the Scottish half of his audience for good.
A Rod Stewart show is a big-band production and always has been: horn section, backing vocalists, multiple guitarists, costume changes, and a frontman who has spent sixty years working out exactly how to hold a room of 15,000 people.
The setlist leans heavily on the seventies and eighties, with a Faces segment, the Great American Songbook material for a stretch in the middle, and the hits stacked at either end. He kicks footballs into the crowd. He still does, and the crowd still loses its mind about it.
What has changed is the pacing. Recent tours have built in more sit-down moments and more of the band carrying the back half, and after the 2026 health problems you would expect more of that rather than less. It does not make the show smaller; it makes it less of an endurance event for everyone involved.
Set times vary by venue, and the outdoor dates in Sweden, Norway and Colorado will run to different schedules from the arenas. Check your ticket.
The pitch here is simple and, for once, true: there is no next tour. Stewart has said so directly and has repeated it, and at 81 and after a stent procedure there is no serious reason to doubt him.
That matters for resale behaviour. Inventory for a farewell tour behaves differently from inventory for an ordinary one — people hold on to tickets longer, and the supply that does appear tends to come early, from buyers whose circumstances changed, rather than building as the date approaches.
The UK and European dates went on general sale on 2 October, so resale listings for those will be at their most plentiful over the coming weeks. The March North American dates have been on sale far longer, and the two Red Rocks nights are the hardest of the 28 — a 9,500-capacity venue, two nights only, and a plausible claim to being the last show he ever plays.
No. He has said The Final Encore will be his last tour but that he is not retiring from music. His words were: "I'm not retiring. But this will be the last rock 'n' roll tour."
The UK and European leg opens at the 3Arena in Dublin on 23 April 2027 and finishes at the ZAG Arena in Hannover on 24 July. North American dates in March come first, and two Red Rocks nights in September close the schedule.
Five UK dates plus Dublin: The O2 Belfast on 27 April, OVO Hydro in Glasgow on 29 April, Utilita Arena Birmingham on 4 May, Co-op Live in Manchester on 6 May, and The O2 in London on 11 May.
Twenty-eight in total: five in North America in March, 21 across the UK, Ireland and Europe between April and July, and two at Red Rocks in September.
Howard Jones, on the six UK and Ireland dates.
Fanclub presale on 29 September 2026 and general sale at 10am on Friday 2 October 2026 for the UK and European leg. The North American dates went on sale when they were first scheduled.
He is 81, born on 10 January 1945. He turns 82 during the tour's build-up, in January 2027.
It has closed or near-closed his sets for the better part of fifty years, and a farewell tour is not the moment to drop it.
Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, on 3 September 2027.
