BMO Field Tickets

Experience world-class events at BMO Field!

Feel the excitement of world-class events at Toronto's premier outdoor stadium, BMO Field. Nestled within Exhibition Place, this Canadian landmark is truly a destination-worthy venue. After all, it was designed with the expressed purpose of versatility when it opened in 2007.

Dubbed "Toronto's front lawn," this multi-purpose venue has undergone several rounds of renovations and expansions during the 2010s. This state-of-the-art venue is now able to open way, way up for a breezy, open-air experience. It's a remarkable spot to visit when you're in the city. When you buy through Ticombo, you're not taking a chance on whether what you're getting is legitimate. You're entering a marketplace where authenticity is non-negotiable. It allows you to really hone in on the anticipation, without needing to sweat the small stuff — like, "Is this ticket legit?" That's the kind of peace of mind that frees you up to concentrate on the "you-are-there" aspect of the event.

BMO Field is an architectural achievement and represents the majors making it to Toronto. Current attendance isn't just a number but a story of fan engagement. Clubs that play at BMO Field — Toronto FC and the CFL's Toronto Argonauts — are doing just fine in terms of attracting fans. The Argos even managed their best gate from 2016 onward during their 2024 season. Both clubs have occasionally offered some seating innovations, but the place now firmly holds a solid 30,000 in terms of capacity — up from the stadium's original configuration. They've even added a canopy to protect more fans from weather of all kinds, and the building has been mentioned in some quarters as a possible site for 2026 World Cup matches, which assures its place among North American stadia of note. Toronto FC enjoys some of Major League Soccer's most enthusiastic support. The combination of those supporters and the way BMO Field is built creates an intimacy between the fans and the action on the pitch that is rare to find in today's sporting world.

BMO Field has raised its game in recent years and is now a gem that combines the best elements of modern stadia with the necessities of a venue that was built with the human scale of real fans in mind.

But on the off chance that something goes wrong, Ticombo guarantees replacement tickets.

About BMO Field

BMO Field is an architectural achievement and represents the majors making it to Toronto. The venue has become a whole different ballgame for Toronto sports. BMO Field is a shrine to Toronto FC and to the soccer diaspora. It's home base in the middle of Exhibition Place.

BMO Field History

The venue opened in 2007, immediately establishing itself as Toronto FC's fortress and providing Major League Soccer with its first purpose-built stadium in Canada. The initial configuration emphasized soccer-specific design principles, creating sightlines and atmospherics optimized for the beautiful game. The intimate 20,000-seat layout fostered an intensity that visiting teams learned to respect — and sometimes fear.

Expansion came with the Toronto Argonauts' arrival in 2016, necessitating modifications to accommodate Canadian football without compromising the soccer experience. The subsequent renovations proved transformative, adding premium seating, enhanced amenities, and expanded capacity that reflected both franchises' growing ambitions. By the 2020s, additional upgrades pushed capacity higher still, enabling the stadium to host increasingly significant events while maintaining its distinctive architectural character.

BMO Field Facts and Figures

Current attendance figures tell compelling stories about fan engagement. Toronto FC's 2025 home matches averaged 22,738 supporters — a testament to the club's enduring appeal despite competitive challenges. The Toronto Argonauts recorded their strongest home attendance since 2016 during the 2024 season, averaging 15,127 fans per game and demonstrating renewed enthusiasm for Canadian football in the city.

The stadium's capacity has grown substantially from its original configuration, now accommodating crowds that would have seemed impossible during those early years. This expansion reflects not just increased demand but Toronto's maturation as a sports market capable of sustaining multiple franchises at the highest competitive levels. The venue's selection to host FIFA World Cup matches in 2026 confirms its status among North America's elite facilities.

BMO Field Seating Guide

Understanding the stadium's layout transforms good experiences into unforgettable ones. Each section offers distinct advantages depending on your priorities: proximity to action, comprehensive field vision, weather protection, or access to premium amenities. The multi-purpose design means optimal seating varies by event type — what works perfectly for soccer might differ from ideal CFL viewing positions.

Best seats at BMO Field

For soccer matches, midfield positions between the penalty areas provide tactical overview that reveals formations, runs, and spatial relationships invisible from behind the goals. Lower bowl sections in these areas place you close enough to hear player communication while maintaining perspective on both attacking and defensive phases. The supporters' sections behind the south goal create Toronto FC's famous wall of sound — standing room atmosphere where passion overrides comfort.

Canadian football's elongated field dimensions shift the calculus. Sideline seats near midfield remain premium, offering balanced views of plays developing across the 110-yard length. End zone sections work better for CFL than soccer, as touchdowns and goal-line stands provide dramatic focal points. Upper bowl corners present surprising value, combining affordability with elevated sightlines that reveal offensive schemes and defensive coverages.

BMO Field Seating Chart

The stadium's bowl configuration wraps around the playing surface in a continuous sweep, eliminating the disconnected sections that characterize older multi-sport facilities. Lower bowl sections (100-level) bring you closest to action but may restrict overhead views during peak moments. Mid-level sections offer excellent compromise between proximity and perspective, while upper sections (400-level) provide comprehensive panoramas ideal for tactical appreciation.

Premium areas include club seats with enhanced amenities, while general admission sections cater to cost-conscious fans willing to trade comfort for affordability. Family sections create appropriate environments for young supporters, and accessible seating accommodates guests with mobility requirements without isolating them from the stadium's energy. Study the seating chart before purchasing to prevent disappointment and maximize enjoyment.

How to get to BMO Field

Location within Exhibition Place offers both advantages and challenges. The venue sits approximately 5 kilometers west of Toronto's downtown core, easily reachable through multiple transportation options but requiring planning to avoid event-day congestion. Smart logistics separate smooth arrivals from frustrating delays.

Parking at BMO Field

Exhibition Place offers a variety of parking lots around the stadium, with enough capacity for most events — though high-profile matches can result in the lots selling out. Getting there early — at least 90 minutes before kickoff — will generally ensure that you have a spot in your preferred lot closer to the gates. You can almost fully eliminate any parking uncertainty through the use of online reservations, which also allow you to pay in advance. The price for that convenience varies depending on how close the event is and how important the event is. You could also consider the option of finding a spot in a nearby neighborhood; just be careful about time limits and permits. Departing is the real challenge if you've chosen to drive. Plan on at least a half-hour to get out, if not considerably longer.

Public Transportation to BMO Field

The variety of ways to get to the stadium using public transportation makes it a more appealing option. The Line 2 Bloor-Danforth subway and the 52A bus are the two principal routes used by attendees traveling with TTC (Toronto Transit Commission). For GO Transit users coming from the suburbs, Union Station is the hub, with plenty of connections to various parts of the city. And then there's the streetcar network, with Route 509 typically offering the most direct service to Exhibition Place. If you're inclined to use public transportation, as many regular attendees are, you should budget extra travel time to ensure you get to the gates before kickoff.

Frequently Asked Questions

How to purchase BMO Field tickets?

The first stop for tickets is always the official team websites, league platforms, and the box office. They offer tickets at face value, although for high-demand games, they seem to be working more as an efficient reservation and distribution system since they can and do sell out. Sometimes the next game or event you want to attend can really dent your wallet unless you have access to a secondary resale site.

The purchasing process requires account creation, payment method on file, and email address for delivery confirmation. Mobile ticketing has become standard, so ensure your smartphone can receive and display digital tickets. Season ticket holders sometimes release individual games they cannot attend, creating opportunities to access premium seating locations that rarely appear on primary markets.

How much are BMO Field tickets?

Pricing varies dramatically based on opponent quality, day of week, seating location, and remaining inventory. Toronto FC matches might range from affordable upper-bowl general admission to premium lower-bowl positions commanding significantly higher prices. Rivalry matches and playoffs escalate costs across all sections due to heightened demand. Toronto Argonauts games typically price more accessibly than MLS contests, reflecting different market dynamics.

Secondary market prices fluctuate according to supply-demand economics. Tickets for ordinary mid-season matches against lesser opponents often sell below face value as game day approaches and sellers prioritize recovering partial investment. Conversely, marquee matchups against popular opponents see prices rise substantially above original values. Monitoring prices over time reveals patterns that savvy buyers exploit for optimal value.

What is the capacity of BMO Field?

Since it opened in 2007, the stadium's capacity has grown significantly, mainly because of the renovations in the 2020s that pushed the total well beyond the old limits. Presently, the stadium can hold 30,000 to 32,000 people, depending on the exact event configuration. In BMO Field's early years, the original capacity was 20,195.

What time does BMO Field open on event days?

Gate opening times vary by event and ticket type, with premium ticket holders typically receiving early entry privileges. Standard gates generally open approximately 90 minutes before scheduled kickoff, providing adequate time to navigate entry procedures, locate seating, visit concessions, and settle in before pre-game ceremonies commence. Arriving when gates open avoids later congestion and lets you absorb the building atmosphere as the stadium fills.

Special events may alter typical schedules — playoff matches, international competitions, or games featuring significant pre-match entertainment could open earlier to accommodate expanded programming. Check your ticket confirmation and official team communications for specific timing related to your event. Early arrival also helps when navigating public transit or parking, as last-minute rushes often encounter delays that threaten timely entry.
