Experience events at José Alvalade Stadium!
José Alvalade rises just north of Lisbon's center: a modern stadium whose graceful architecture masks a force of nature. The arena stages sporting drama and spectacle — primarily football — while also proving an attractive setting for concerts and cultural events. With a permanent capacity of 50,095, the venue transforms for big European nights, where the intensity and drama of continental competition are felt most palpably.
Beyond football, the stadium's good looks and fine acoustics have hosted exhibitions and festivals — once even serving as a kind of Portugal pavilion showcasing Portuguese wines and delicacies for tens of thousands of visitors. Whether you come for Primeira Liga fixtures, Champions League nights, or a large-scale cultural production, the site functions as both stage and gathering place for large audiences.
100% Authentic Tickets with Buyer Protection
Ticombo's digital audit trail and verification systems are designed to ensure the ticket shown at the turnstile matches the one sold on the marketplace. Listings pass through verification checks and buyers can view proof of authenticity in the form of a digital certificate. If issues arise after purchase, Ticombo's buyer-protection policy is in place to resolve problems quickly — refunds can be issued promptly in many cases, and staff at the entrance have procedures to handle lost or reported-stolen tickets.
The platform also emphasizes fraud protection across transactions. Where physical tickets are required, Ticombo offers express courier delivery (next-day) for an additional fee so purchasers can receive a tangible ticket before the event rather than waiting on longer shipping timelines.
