100% Authentic Tickets with Buyer Protection

In the digital age, almost everything can be faked. With the proliferation of the secondary market, buying anything that could be a collectible or simply an item with resale value has become near impossible without an assurance of authenticity. For some time, our society has operated with a seemingly implicit agreement that fake goods are okay, as long as we never find out about it. Ticombo addresses this by delivering tickets safely and accurately through its e-ticketing system.

E-ticket delivery does away with the potential vagaries of physical mail: nothing gets lost, delayed, or damaged. Buyers receive a QR-coded ticket directly on their device (or in their email) in seconds. If you want paper as a receipt, you can print one out. All of this is done with insurance against mishandling, with proof of your order archived inside the ticket app.

About Stadio Diego Armando Maradona

Renaming the stadium in 2020 after Diego Maradona wasn't just a symbolic act; it was a thoroughly considered decision made by a community that wanted to memorialize the player in the city's grandest public space. Before 1984, a 30,000-seat structure with a running track could mostly go unremarked. But when Diego Maradona arrived that year and almost instantaneously turned Napoli into not just a winner but a Southern Italian winner, the stadium's running track was replaced by stands that dramatically emphasized the venue's scale.

Recent redevelopment efforts, including the last re-development in 2018, introduced sustainability measures such as reduced lighting costs, water recycling for sanitary use, and other match-day improvements that modernized the venue while respecting its history.

Stadio Diego Armando Maradona History

The Stadio Diego Armando Maradona was formerly known as the Stadio San Paolo when it opened in 1959. Maradona's arrival in 1984 transformed Napoli's fortunes, and the stadium evolved physically and culturally with the club's rise. The 1990s focused on extending the stadium's lifespan, the 2000s on improving comfort, and more recent works have balanced modernization with sustainability.

Stadio Diego Armando Maradona Facts and Figures

The stadium is one of the largest and most iconic in Italy, with a capacity of more than 60,000. It has hosted major events such as FIFA World Cup matches in 1990, the 1997 UEFA Cup Final, the 1994 International Rugby Sevens, and numerous concerts. A recent multi-million-euro renovation has restored the stadium to a state worthy of its rich history.

The city of Naples offers public transit options that reach the stadium: Metro Line 1, buses, and the Circumvesuviana rail, which connects the city to nearby towns.
