Stadio Olimpico Tickets

Experience world-class events at Stadio Olimpico!

Nestled in the greenery of Rome's famous Foro Italico, the Stadio Olimpico is simply splendid. It is a monument to sport and its architecture. Its impressive size and scale translate seamlessly to an atmosphere that can be experienced only within its hallowed walls. This magnificent facility can hold 82,910 pumped-up fans who are 100% invested in the events taking place on the field below.

The stadium serves as the home pitch for the two high-profile teams that compete in Rome: AS Roma and SS Lazio. For that reason alone, the Olimpico is frequently the site of significant narratives and story arcs. Yet its use extends beyond the beautiful game. Both capacity and versatility allow the arena to serve as a landmark for major international events — be they sporting or otherwise. The structure is presently undergoing a renovation in phases. The aim is to ensure that the stadium meets UEFA's very high standards and to take sustainability to a new level.

Securing authentic match and concert tickets for the Stadio Olimpico can be complicated due to secondary-market risks and counterfeit tickets. Ticombo states it confronts this danger with a three-pronged verification system and a fan-to-fan (FTF) marketplace that emphasizes accountability: buyers and sellers are typically private individuals whose reputations and incentives encourage honest behavior. This community-driven model is a core part of how Ticombo claims to preserve the authenticity and atmosphere of live events at the Olimpico.

The exact lineup of events changes with league schedules and tours, but fans can generally expect a steady flow of high-profile appointments. For much of the year, Rome's Serie A squads — AS Roma and SS Lazio — fill the calendar with home matches, and the venue also hosts European fixtures and occasional international appointments.

100% Authentic Tickets with Buyer Protection

Ticombo's FTF marketplace and layered verification approach are intended to reduce the risk of counterfeit tickets. The platform combines seller accountability with validation checks to give buyers more confidence when purchasing resale tickets. Ticombo also offers tracked shipping and insurance for fans who prefer physical tickets, reducing the chance that a paper ticket will be lost in transit before a major concert or match.

Transactions on Ticombo use encrypted checkout and escrow-like handling: users enter payment information on a secure site and funds are held until the order is verified. Once the order is confirmed, buyers receive an email and tickets are delivered via the chosen method. These processes aim to provide clarity and protection from purchase to stadium entry.

About Stadio Olimpico

Stadio Olimpico History

The Olimpico's history is tied to large-scale, emblematic projects of the early 20th century. Built as part of the Foro Italico complex under Mussolini's era, the stadium has hosted world-class events and has seen both celebrated and controversial moments since opening in the 1930s. Notable historical events include international competitions held at the venue and, later, the FIFA World Cup final appearance that cemented its international profile.

Renovations in 2009 and 2016 modernized facilities to improve safety, comfort, and accessibility. Current redevelopment plans (2024–2025) focus on UEFA compliance and sustainability, with proposals for energy-efficient lighting, renewable-energy integration, and upgraded waste-management systems to meet contemporary standards.

Stadio Olimpico Facts and Figures

Stadio Olimpico's official capacity of 82,910 places it among Italy's largest stadiums. It serves as the shared home for AS Roma and SS Lazio, hosting numerous Serie A matches annually alongside cup games, European fixtures, and occasional national-team appearances. The venue's size and configuration also make it a major concert destination for international acts.

The stadium's two passionate fan sectors — Curva Nord and Curva Sud — define much of its atmosphere. These areas are the core of ultra support, where organized chants and displays shape the matchday experience.

Stadio Olimpico Seating Guide

Best seats at Stadio Olimpico

The fans in the curvas provide the most intense, close-up experiences: Primo Anello (first tier) places supporters nearest the action with straight sightlines and an immersive feel, while Secondo Anello (second tier) offers a higher vantage point that is better for following tactical developments across the pitch. Choices between proximity and tactical overview depend on the type of experience you prefer.

VIP and hospitality areas provide a contrasting option with premium comfort and services for those seeking a more relaxed, upscale match-or-concert experience.

Stadio Olimpico Seating Chart

The Olimpico's amphitheater-like shape and roof geometry influence sightlines and acoustics. Lower tiers bring you close to players and performers, while higher tiers improve the overall field perspective. When planning your visit, consider which type of vantage point — close and visceral or elevated and tactical — best suits your priorities.

Home/away allocations can change by fixture, so consult event-specific seating maps to ensure you're seated among the supporters you expect to be near.

How to get to Stadio Olimpico

Parking at Stadio Olimpico

Public parking around the stadium is limited, and the venue's lot offers only a small number of spaces. For many eventgoers, that means parking fills quickly. Arriving several hours before kickoff is often necessary if you insist on driving.

Given restricted match-day parking and permit zones, many fans find driving impractical. A common strategy is to park near a Metro station or another convenient hub and complete the journey via public transport.

Public Transportation to Stadio Olimpico

Taking Metro Line A to Flaminio station and walking roughly 15–20 minutes to the Foro Italico is a recommended and scenic approach. During events, bus and tram services that connect with the Flaminio area typically increase frequency to handle matchday demand. Walking from Flaminio with other fans is part of the matchday ritual and often the most pleasant and reliable way to reach the stadium.

Latest Stadio Olimpico News

Planned upgrades include LED lighting and broader sustainability measures. On the sporting calendar, the venue has notable Serie A fixtures slated for 2025, including significant home matches for AS Roma in September and October that are already driving ticket demand.
