Metallica Tickets
Metallica are a force to be reckoned with in the metal scene. The band's classic tracks like "Master of Puppets," "Creeping Death," and "Battery" are timeless, and you won't find better live performances of Metallica songs from any other band.
Formed in Los Angeles in 1981 by vocalist/guitarist James Hetfield and drummer Lars Ulrich, Metallica are one of the heaviest bands ever. After settling into the Bay Area and releasing their self-titled debut in 1983, Metallica have been based out of San Francisco for most of their career. Alongside Hetfield and Ulrich, current band members are lead guitarist Kirk Hammett (since 1983) and bassist Robert Trujillo (since 2003). Metallica are Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees with nine Grammy Awards and have sold more than 100 million records worldwide.
Metallica have announced plans for Life Burns Faster, a concert residency at Sphere in Las Vegas. Tickets are moving fast, but don't worry, Ticombo has got your back. Browse thousands of Metallica tickets from fans and verified sellers backed by the Ticombo Guarantee. If you're looking to sell tickets to a Metallica show, add them in minutes with easy, secure payment directly to you.
The band's Sphere residency is a product of Live Nation. Each Thursday–Saturday will feature two shows with two unique setlists – Metallica will not repeat any of the same songs each weekend. We highly recommend catching both nights of any given weekend (a la their No Repeat Weekend shows on the original incarnation of the M72 World Tour in 2023).
If you can't make it for both nights, Metallica will surely slay whichever show you catch. General admission tickets are expected to be pricey, especially during peak dates. If you're after Metallica tickets but GA inventory has dried up, consider snagging a seat in Sphere's tiered levels. Sphere's giant LED screen completely surrounds the venue, which means that even upper levels will be integral parts of the production.
In addition to single-night GA and tiered seats, Metallica at Sphere tickets include:
- Weekend passes (two-night packages)
- Enhanced Experience and VIP packages, with details TBD and options like Snake Pit access and meet and greets

Metallica Greatest Hits
The Thrash Years
It was the band's earliest works that truly cemented Metallica's importance in the thrash movement, particularly their first three studio releases Kill 'Em All, Ride the Lightning, and Master of Puppets. Songs like "Master of Puppets," "Creeping Death," and "Battery" have since become thrash classics, still very much in demand on the band's live sets today.
The Black Album
While the epic ...And Justice for All was Metallica's first real step into the mainstream, their untitled fifth record, commonly referred to as The Black Album, was a global blockbuster that saw Metallica firmly entrenched in the ranks of rock's biggest stadium-filling superstars. Its tracks were big radio hits, while "Enter Sandman," "Nothing Else Matters," "Sad but True" and "The Unforgiven" have since become Metallica standards.
The Later Work
Metallica have since experimented with alternative directions on albums like St. Anger and others, but have maintained their status as one of rock's premier live acts throughout the group's long and storied career. Recent releases like 72 Seasons have seen the band revisiting the heavy thrash of their early career.
72 Seasons
Metallica's eleventh studio album 72 Seasons was released in 2023. The album has been getting plenty of airplay during their current tour with songs like Lux Æterna, the title track, Screaming Suicide and others getting loud cheers from fans.
What To Expect At A Metallica Concert
From their earliest thrash anthems to nineties radio smashes to recent releases, Metallica will cover all corners of their massive back-catalog of heavy hitters during their set, making this one of those rare opportunities for fans to see all-time rock classics alongside newer tracks during one epic show. Expect an absolute wall of sound during Metallica's bombastic rockers, and prepare yourself for an epic two-and-a-half hours of music spanning nearly 40 years and eleven studio albums.
When To Buy Metallica Tickets
Metallica will be playing 24 shows at Sphere in Las Vegas across twelve Thursdays & Saturdays between 1 October 2026 and 13 March 2027 as part of Life Burns Faster, a multi-weekend residency at Sphere produced by Live Nation, marking the venue's first-ever hard rock or metal show.
Thanks to the No Repeat Weekend format, each night's show will feature a different selection of songs. Roughly fifty songs will be performed throughout the weekend, none of them being repeated across Thursday's & Saturday's shows. Tickets are available for individual nights, but there are also two-night tickets for those keen on experiencing both sets.
Thanks to Sphere's jaw-dropping production values and industry-first 16K wraparound screen, which incorporates the entire arena into the show's visuals, a premium-priced seat at Sphere is far from a compromise, as each tiered section promises to provide an unforgettable concert experience.
Autumn-dated shows are currently only available as resale tickets on Ticombo in single digit amounts, with ticket availability subject to change as original buyers may decide to release their tickets at a later date. More seats are available for the first few weekends in early 2027, particularly if you're keen to experience both nights during February & March's shows. Availability is very tight for the residency's opening night, and is likely to stay that way as Metallica return to Sphere to close out Life Burns Faster on 13 March.
