The Emilia Romagna Grand Prix takes place at Imola on the weekend of 22-24 May 2026. The seating options at the Imola racecourse are structured to suit different budgets and viewing preferences. The most expensive and sought-after seats are in the Grandstand, which offers unbeatable views over the main straight and the breathtaking curve of Acque Minerali. A seat here will set you back a cool €520. For those on a tighter budget, there's always General Admission, which gets you in for around €120 and puts you in a spot along the track's perimeter but with very limited visibility. If you're not looking to mortally wound your wallet, though, you'll find something in between the two: a seat on the "Curva Premium," which will cost you just under €300 and allow you to see all the action on one of Imola's three main knuckles (Rivazza, Tosa, and Piratella).
The shuttle services are run by Ticombo from Bologna and Ravenna and are timed to coincide with the start times of the sessions at the venue, so there is no waiting around for fans who take the shuttle to the circuit.
Ticombo offers a variety of payment methods, including major credit cards, PayPal, and ordinary bank transfers. Each of these is processed through a novel "escrow" service: the funds associated with a purchase are held back until the ticket has been validated. This architecture significantly reduces the risk of fraud and identity theft associated with electronic commerce. Three delivery paths are available: (a) "Digital Instant Delivery," which provides copies of the ticket (with QR codes) within five minutes of purchase; (b) "Standard" physical mail, which usually dispatches the ticket within 72 hours, to arrive via tracked courier; (c) "Express" courier, which guarantees next-business-day delivery, hand-to-hand at the door. Standard and express deliveries are further reducible to a local "hub" (for instance, the Milan office of the courier service). With 3 Clicks and a Cooperative Cell (the FIA app), customers access the same real-time circuit maps, live timing, and personalized notifications that fans in the grandstands enjoy.

The upcoming 2026 season marks the beginning of several key regulatory changes. It will feature a 10 percent reduction in the aerodynamic area beneath the cars, but without altering the bodywork above. This is to improve the already impossibly close racing these finely tuned vehicles achieve. But the truly important shift lies in F1's decision to adopt synthetic fuels, part of the series's commitment to halving its carbon emissions by 2026. The alternative fuels will be chemically identical to the high-octane, premium-grade gasoline engines in various race cars currently use. As a result, the synthetic fuels will boast the same energy content and power output, even though they aren't direct petroleum derivatives.
Adjustments to markets and demands can naturally affect prices, especially when an event is nearly full or sold out. The reorganized Grand Prix of Emilia Romagna is unique, with its own QR-coded tickets. It followed the Singapore Grand Prix in 2021 as the only current F1 race to feature that kind of secure, F1-level ticketing mechanism. You must assign tickets to their new holders through the Ticket Transfer feature of the platform that sold them. Transfers must be completed within 24 hours, well before the first practice session on the Friday of race week, to be in compliance with F1's own ticketing regulations.
