About the Nitto ATP Finals

The Nitto ATP Finals serves as the season-ending men's tennis tournament and the concluding event of the ATP Tour. In contrast to all other ATP tournaments, there are no draws or qualifying rounds. Instead, the elite eight players earn their spots throughout the course of the year via the PIF ATP Race to Turin. The eight seeds are finalised on the Monday following the conclusion of the last ATP Tour event of the year.

This level of exclusivity is exactly what makes the Nitto ATP Finals special. Eight players, eight doubles teams, one location, eight days. There is no first round, no journeyman players, no wasted time. Every match is contested between two top-eight players.

The 2026 Nitto ATP Finals marks the 57th singles competition and the 52nd doubles competition, and represents the sixth consecutive year of hosting the tournament in Turin.

Nitto ATP Finals Format

The Nitto ATP Finals employs a unique round-robin group format unlike any other ATP Tour event. The eight players are divided into two groups of four. Within each group, every player competes against the other three members of the group. Therefore, each player is guaranteed three matches regardless of outcome, which means you can purchase tickets for an early-week session and still see top-eight tennis.

The top two finishers in each group advance to the semi-finals on Saturday, culminating in the final on Sunday, 22 November. Should a player emerge victorious in all five matches — three group stage matches, a semi-final, and the final — he receives 1,500 ranking points, making it the most valuable haul available outside a Grand Slam.

Each session features both a singles and doubles match. Round-robin sessions begin at 11:30 and 18:00, while the final takes place at 15:00 on 22 November.

Nitto ATP Finals History

The season-ending men's tennis tournament traces its origins to 1970, having been held in 15 different locations around the world. Before settling in Turin in 2021, its most recent long-term home was London's O2 Arena, where it ran from 2009 to 2020.

Novak Djokovic currently holds the record for most titles won (seven), having overtaken Roger Federer's tally of six by defeating Jannik Sinner in the 2023 final in Turin. The Swiss star reached the year-end event 18 times and appeared in 17 editions, including 14 in a row.

Sinner has been the winner in the last two years. He claimed his 2025 title by winning every set en route to beating Carlos Alcaraz 7-6(4), 7-5 in the final and now boasts the highest percentage of wins (88.2 per cent) in the tournament's history.

Italy has been confirmed as host until 2030 after a five-year extension in 2024, although the ATP have indicated that the city staging the final few editions is still to be decided and the new Milan arena could be an option instead of Turin.

The Inalpi Arena

Originally known as the Palasport Olimpico and built for the 2006 Turin Winter Olympics, the venue was renamed PalaAlpitour after a naming rights deal with the Italian travel group Alpitour in 2014, and was rebranded as the Inalpi Arena under a five-year sponsorship arrangement with the dairy group Inalpi in 2024.

The venue holds more than 15,000 people in Italy's largest indoor sports arena, with approximately 12,000 seats used for tennis. It is a significantly smaller setup than the O2 and, as such, produces one of the most partisan atmospheres in the game, particularly when Sinner is playing.

Turin is also an underrated city as a host. It's relatively small and easy to walk around, has great food and is well-connected via the train line with Milan and other parts of northern Italy. The tournament takes over the whole city for a week, with a Fan Village and related events held across the city centre.

How to See the Nitto ATP Finals Live

The level of competition here is simply unmatched. With a Grand Slam, you may need to wait until the second week for a meeting between two top-10 ranked players. All matches here are one, starting with the first session on Sunday.

A big advantage of the round robin is that you can't be eliminated on day one, so a ticket to the first sessions is guaranteed to include two of the world's top eight, and those same players return later in the week. Midweek sessions usually offer a group decider with a semi-final spot at stake.

There are also doubles matches included with each session, so there are two games with every ticket, and the doubles field is the strongest of the season and often features the better game.

Practice week is for those in the know. Between 11 and 14 November, you can buy separate practice tickets to attend the sessions at the Inalpi Arena and at the Circolo della Stampa Sporting club, where players train in front of a small audience the days leading up to the tournament. It's the cheapest way by far to see the field.

100% Authentic Nitto ATP Finals Tickets with Buyer Protection

Every ticket listing is verified before going live, and your payment is held safely until your tickets are confirmed as being delivered. Should a seller fail to deliver, if the tickets aren't what they were described as or if a session is cancelled, you're covered under buyer protection.

The ATP Finals have a slight buying quirk to take into consideration. The field is not confirmed until the days before the tournament, so nobody knows who is playing when tickets go on sale. You are buying a session rather than a matchup, and the order of play for each session is only confirmed shortly beforehand.

This works both ways. It means that you cannot guarantee seeing a particular player, but it also means that every session is guaranteed to have two of the top eight regardless of who qualifies.

Withdrawals are a potential problem at this tournament more so than most others. It occurs at the very end of an 11-month season, and a qualified player may withdraw due to injury or fatigue, with alternates filling their spot. Buy for the tournament, not for a particular player.

The official sales are through the tournament's site, with members of the Italian tennis federation and past attendees getting priority.

Nitto ATP Finals Ticket Prices

Ticket prices are per session, not per day, and there are 15 sessions.

Practice sessions from 11-14 November are the cheapest way to access the tournament by far, and give you the chance to watch the full field in an intimate environment. Separate tickets exist for the Inalpi Arena practice courts and the Circolo della Stampa Sporting sessions. They cannot be swapped.

The round-robin sessions form the bulk of the tournament, and they are the best deal for competitive tennis. Daytime sessions, scheduled for 11:30, are priced lower than evening ones starting at 18:00. The early days of play cost less than the closing group matches, when qualification hangs in the balance.

The Saturday semi-finals represent the second most expensive sessions of the week. The Sunday final on 22 November carries the premium price tag. This is the final match of the men's tennis season, and with an Italian defending champion, it is the most difficult session to access in the venue.

When To Buy Nitto ATP Finals Tickets

The tournament is approximately twelve weeks away, and official sales began early, as they always have, before qualification is known.

For the final on 22 November, you should purchase immediately. The final sells out quickly and prices do not drop. If Sinner is competing for a third straight championship, local demand will be intense.

Round-robin sessions offer greater availability and better value. Each round-robin session features two top-eight players and one doubles match, at a fraction of the cost of the closing weekend. Practice week tickets, from 11 to 14 November, are in limited supply but cheap. They are also the least known way to enter the event.

A note on planning: several of the same players will also participate in the Rolex Paris Masters the week prior. You can combine your trip, travelling from Paris to Turin by plane or train through Milan. Hotel rates in Turin increase significantly during tournament week, so arrange lodging along with your ticket.

Recent Nitto ATP Finals News

The 2026 Nitto ATP Finals take place from Sunday 15 to Sunday 22 November at the Inalpi Arena. This will be the sixth consecutive year Turin hosts the year-end championship.

Jannik Sinner enters as the two-time defending champion following his undefeated 2025 title win, when he defeated Carlos Alcaraz in the final. Sinner has the highest win percentage in the event's history and is the clear favourite. Novak Djokovic still holds the record for most titles won, at seven.

Carlos Alcaraz, Alexander Zverev and Daniil Medvedev are among those believed likely to vie for a spot via the PIF ATP Race to Turin, based on performances over the entire season, though it won't be known until the conclusion of the final tournament of the year on the tour calendar.

Italy will continue to hold the rights to the event through 2030, an agreement extended in 2024, but the ATP has said that the location past Turin's current obligation is still under consideration.
