Scotiabank Saddledome (formerly known as Olympic Saddledome, Canadian Airlines Saddledome, and Pengrowth Saddledome) is a multi-purpose indoor arena located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Situated in Stampede Park in the southeast end of downtown Calgary, it was built in 1983 to replace the Stampede Corral as the home of the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League (NHL) and the 1988 Winter Olympics ice hockey and figure skating events. It has also been the home of the Calgary Hitmen of the Western Hockey League (WHL) and the Calgary Roughnecks of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) since their inceptions in 1995 and 2001, respectively.
