Japan National Stadium, commonly known as the National Stadium (Kokuritsu Kyōgijō), is Japan’s principal national stadium located in Tokyo and a major multi-purpose sports venue. Designed by architect Kengo Kuma and rebuilt on the site of the former national stadium for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games (opened in 2019), it has a capacity of around 68,000 and regularly hosts football and athletics events, national team fixtures, and large-scale concerts organized by national and international federations.
